If you are an athlete, make sure to check the website of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). You need to register with them and pay a small fee if you expect to play sports in college. If the courses available at your school have been reviewed and approved by the NCAA (Form 48H), then you can qualify to play for NCAA teams. Make sure you, your family and your coaches are aware of the rules and regulations set up by the NCAA.
